EPDM

EPDM rubber is a synthetic rubber made from an Ethylene-Propylene compound. This gasket material offers good resistance to ozone, steam, strong acids and alkali. EPDM rubber material is used for parts in the appliance industry; as low-pressure boilers; weather stripping, boots, dust covers, sleeves and mounts. It is not recommended for use with solvents and aromatic compound.  It has poor resistance to fuels and oils.
