Glass Laminates

Glass Laminates is an epoxy laminate with good mechanical and electrical properties. Common types include G9, G10/FR4, and GPO-3.

G-9 has good mechanical properties and high resistance heat, flame, arcing and strong alkali solutions. G-9 meets MIL-I-24768/1Type GME.

G-10 / FR4  ranges from natural to light green in color and is used in the electronics field and is an outstanding insulator. The difference between NEMA grades G-10 and FR-4 is that FR-4 is a fire retardant material.

G-10/ FR-4 meets the requirements of MIL-I-24768/27 GEE-F.

GPO-3  is used in electrical applications that require high arc as well as flame resistance. GPO-3 is UL rated with a temperature of to up to 140C. Standard colors are red, black or white. It is also commonly used in power distribution and switch gear applications. GPO-3 is offered in rods, tubes and sheets form in thicknesses ranging from 1/32”  to 2”. It meets the requirements of MIL-I-24768/6.
