Nitrile Gaskets (NBR/Buna-N)
Nitrile (Buna N) is a synthetic copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. This gasket material is highly resistant to petroleum oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils and many acids. It also has a high resistance to a broad range of aromatic hydrocarbons. Its applications range mostly in tough industrial environments. White Nitrile Buna-N is FDA approved as a food grade gasket material.
