PEEK (Ketron)

PEEK (Ketron) is a temperature-resistant engineered and machinable thermoplastic with excellent chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, water resistance and thermal stability. It offers good wear resistance and can be used continuously to 482°F in hot water or steam. PEEK carries a V/O flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. PEEK is inert to all common solvents and resists a wide range of organic and inorganic fluids.  This is a very versatile high performance plastic. Unfilled PEEK is approved by the FDA for food contact applications. PEEK is available in 30% glass filled (Tan) 30% carbon filled (Black) and bearing grade (Dark Grey).
